The Joiners Arms first appeared on the 1900-1 OS map and is still a well used local pub. The written information below is all I have found to date of 2012. I sure more will turn up in time.

P532 KELLY'S DIRECTORY 1891 "Fforest fach. Commercial. Rees David, Joiner's Arms P.H.".
P8 SWANSEA POLICE COURT 1905 October 13 Alterations to premises without permission, to Joiner's Arms, Fforestfach by Thomas Arnold. Inspector Edwards a room had been raised a storey also other work had been completed. United Brewery carried out the work. Case dismissed.
