 Parents: Richard O. (Head), an Auctioneer’s Clerk, age 34, born, Penmaenmark, Caernarvonshire, Wales and Elizabeth A. Jones, age 35, born, Rhyl, Flintshire, Wales. Daughter: Lizzie E. age 2. Son: Richard E. age 5. Both children were born in Cockett, Glamorgan.  They lived in Gendros, in the Parish of Cockett, District of Llangyfelach.²

Richard Owen (Head), an Accountant, age 44 and Elizabeth Ann Jones, married: 17 years, 3 children born alive and 2 still living. Daughter: Lizzie Ellen, at School, age12 and Son: Richard Emrys, at School, age 15. They all spoke both Welsh and English. The family Lived at 2 Fairwood Terrace, Fforestfach, Swansea.^3*
